I started with alphabetical dividers. Then there was a utilities section, a games section, a blank-disk section, and finally a section best described as “things I set down.”
Has anyone found a filing system that survives actual use?

Number the disks and keep the useful description in a searchable catalog. Physical order then matters much less.
My system is four boxes labeled A, B, C, and ALSO C. I cannot recommend it.
