I repaired a clicky stick for night play and accidentally made it louder. Works beautifully, sounds like a tiny typewriter in a cupboard.

Some are quieter, none are silent. Softer-actuation switches plus a heavier case help more than I expected.
The click is how player two knows you are panicking. Essential telemetry.
