Confess the joystick you sacrificed to Summer Games / California Games / any other sports title that treated left-right movement as a consumable resource.
Mine was a translucent blue stick from the late 90s. It deserved better than the rowing event.

Two QuickShots. Not at once, thankfully.
A no-name stick with suction cups. The cups survived. Nothing else did.
I opened one after a tournament and the plastic inside looked like grated cheese.
