Modern replacement case fit notes

ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION
Moved a short-board C64C into a new case. Main board fit is excellent; keyboard posts needed a little patience, and the LED lead was tighter than expected. No cutting required.

If you are doing this, loosely start every screw before tightening any one of them.

Same experience. Also compare screw lengths before installation; replacement cases sometimes ship one mixed bag.

Photograph the original cable routing. The case closes either way, but one route pinches the keyboard lead.

Useful note about starting all screws loose. Mine aligned once I stopped trying to win an argument with the first corner.
